Spicy Green Bean Parmesan Fries

Almond flour?  Yes please!  No guilt here with this low carb healthy snack or appetizer.

Spicy Green Bean Parmesan Fries
serves 2-4


1 C. Almond Meal
1/2 Pound French green beans, cleaned and trimmed
1 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp Kosher salt
1/4 C. Parmesan Cheese
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 egg
1 egg, just the white


Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil, and spray with non-stick cooking spray.

In a bowl mix almond meal with red pepper flakes, parmesan cheese and kosher salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs.

Dip green beans in egg mixture first, coat lightly.

Then, dip in flour and cheese mixture, coating evenly.

Place coated green beans on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes or until green beans are lightly golden brown.

*If the green beans you find are thicker, I would boil them in water to get them tender before making these!

Serve with some organic ketchup and enjoy!
