Summer Sangria Recipe!

Although alcohol is never considered healthy entirely, red wine benefits have been shown in the past years. I mixed this recipe with plenty of healthy fruits and spices- perfect for a nice summer day.

Summer Sangria

Ingredients: (makes about 8 cups)

1 bottle of Cabernet (does not need to be expensive)
1/2 bottle of sparkling water with lime
1 oranges
1/2 lemon
1/2 lime
1/2 of two different types of apples (one pink lady and one green)
1/2 white peach
1/2 cup of tripple sec
1/2 cup of brandy
1/2 cup evaporated cane organic sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg

How To:

Wash all fruits.
Dice the apples and peach into small bite size chunks.
Slice lemon into thin round slices

Place all fruit into the bottom of a large glass pitcher.
Pour red wine into pitcher.
Pour tripple sec and brandy into pitcher.
After all alcohol, pour sparkling water in as well as i fresh squeezed orange.
Squeeze 1/2 a lime into pitcher.
Stir around well.

Now, add sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg and give it another good stir to make sure the sugar evaporates.

Sangria is ready! Pour over some ice and there you have it!
